Atma Vikasa Workshop - Oct. 17
Morning Glory Yoga Studios instructor Kimberly Kennamer recently returned from India where she attended a teachers training program at the ATMA Vikasa Center for Yogic Science. Kimberly studied under Yogacharya Venkatesh, the center’s founder, and is now certified to teach the ATMA Vikasa “primary series,” a sequence of 42 asanas. The ATMA system is based on traditional Indian teachings which emphasize steadying the mind, finding focus and fully experiencing each posture on both a physical and more esoteric level .
Morning Session - 10:00am-12:00pm
An Introduction to the ATMA Vikasa Primary Series
$30.00
This session will focus on the asanas of the primary series. Students of all levels are welcome to attend although a few postures may not be appropriate for everyone. Attendees should be seated on their yoga mats and ready to begin at 10 am as we have a great deal of material to cover in 2 hours.
To sign up for this workshop, contact Amy at Morning Glory Yoga Studios by emailing mgyoga [at] gmail [dot] com, or calling (936) 715-9909.
